It's easy to set aside this blog some days when there's such little feedback. Sorry about that. I'll try to be better. Of course that's the same reason I gave up writing plays 10 years ago. I don't like writing for just myself!
Here I am, watching the Disney show in our last trip to DisneySea last month. Mayu's taking the picture. As is everyone else in the audience!

Yes, the chain of donut shops here in Japan is Mr. Donut. Look good? The latest addition is hamburger and fries donuts. And of course, just the meat is called hamburg. When it's in a bun, they say hamburger. The "fries" you see are tasty potato sticks.

A whole bunch of pictures were hidden in a camera for a while - and we only just found them! They contain a whole trip to Disneyworld during the Christmas season. On the way there we stopped at a flea market like place, and I found this great Fred Flintstone cookie jar I was gonna use in the Alan Reed book, but it's too late now!

Yes, there's one lone Subway in Kyoto, not far from where we get off the train. Underground. And they've got a few different things here, like egg salad, and avacado and shrimp. Plus the old favorites like Subway Club, which is my favorite I think. But this time I had BLT, which as you might tell by the picture is more like fried pepperoni (cooked, like on a pizza) than bacon. Good tho!

If you buy a "set" which is a value meal here during dinner time, McD's gives you back 100 yen, which is like a buck coin. Cute, huh?
The government also recently reduced toll prices on roads. It jammed up highways last week during the holidays!

On nearly every scrap of commercial paper here you find these computer composites that are for scanning with your cell phone. It takes you to that company's website. All McDonald's paper - fry container, hamburger wrapper, etc. - has these too. Well, the other day, walking around Kyoto, we saw these scanheads, and there were many phones out zapping them. The 2 fingers are for me taking the picture.
