my feet in the fish

To take a break from San Francisco, take a look at my feet. They're being eaten by fish! We went to a spa yesterday, and after 30 minutes laying on a hot stone, I had little fish eat the dead skin off my feet. It wasn't the torture you might think - in fact, it was fun! Though I had to make a fist sometimes because it did tickle.

the rest of the meal

Swanky, eh? You eat well when you eat in SF. Today is March 4th, we went there in November, and we still talk about the great food, the city, so much to do. As my wife rightly says, if it wasn't for the beggars (really too many, Mr. Mayor; what are you doing?), it'd be the perfect place!

our lunch on the Wharf!

To me, ain't no better clam chowder in the world than in SF - particularly Fisherman's Wharf. Here we went to a bread place for lunch. I'm not a big bread fan, I prefer just the soup, but it was soup-er!

Sometimes I think the only person who reads this blog is my wife - so I don't update as often as I used to!

More pictures of San Francisco.....!

It's a real 3rd world, ain't it?

this is not fake

Once I got my wife out of jail, we ambled down the pier and found a bunch of sea lions. No joke. Tons and tons of them. Loud and smelly and incredibly funny! Worth coming to SF just for them!

back at the jail

A great view of the bay. Too bad you had to be locked up to see it. Or not see it.

listening to jail

Everyone gets an audio tour of Alcatraz, so that's what you see on my head here. You have to walk and time it so that what he's saying is right in front of you. A bit strange, but it was fun to jaunt without having to stay there forever.

our time in jail

We took the boat to Alcatraz and it was a hoot. No one ever tells you how hilly it is on that island, but it really is!

getting back to SF

It was Nov. when we were there, so lots of great Christmas decorations were going up in store windows daily. This is Macy's, I think.
